We might not have been able to hold our Christmas party, but it was a delight to see so many smiling faces as we handed out presents donated by Blacko Primary School this weekend.
A big thank you to Emma Sayle, business manager Blacko school, Arran Sayle and the Sethi family for helping out with the gift distribution.
Thank you volunteers too: some of the team had the chance to take time out and reflect on all they have achieved this year at a Christmas lunch on Friday. This fantastic group of people spend hours practically and emotionally supporting local asylum seekers and refugees, so this was our chance to say a big thank you to them.
We need your support: our charity survives on donations. At this time of year, more than ever, we need you to help us support asylum seekers and refugees in Burnley and the surrounding areas.
- If you can make a financial donation via our LocalGiving page, no matter how small, it would help us enormously.
