Refugee Action is an independent national charity founded in 1981 that provides advice and support to refugees and asylum seekers in the UK and campaigns for a fairer asylum system.
provides crisis advice and practical support, helping refugees to integrate into their new communities and offering mental health counselling to help them come to terms with the trauma so many of them have experienced.
Campaigning, Policy and Research
is a charity that works in partnership locally and nationally to improve the lives of refugees and people seeking asylum through social and political change. By mobilising and coordinating local, regional and national advocacy work, we aim to increase the impact of campaigns to secure improvements to asylum policy and practice.
