ASAP provides asylum seekers with free legal representation and advice in their asylum support appeals. They can help with an appeal hearing at the tribunal and they might be able to represent for free. Refer someone or yourself here
 
All physical ID cards for refugees and some of the migrants that are expiring on 31 Dec 2024, must transfer their legal status into digital immigration system. Create a UKVI account to access your your eVisa here.

The British Red Cross

If you are a refugee, asylum seeker or vulnerable migrant, the British Red Cross may be able to help you.

 

The Children’s Society

works with young refugees and migrants across the UK to give them opportunities to recover, meet people and start enjoying life in a new country.

City of Sanctuary UK

holds the vision that the UK will be a welcoming place of safety for all and proud to offer sanctuary to people fleeing violence and persecution.

Refugee Action

Refugee Action is an independent national charity founded in 1981 that provides advice and support to refugees and asylum seekers in the UK and campaigns for a fairer asylum system.

 

The Refugee Council

provides crisis advice and practical support, helping refugees to integrate into their new communities and offering mental health counselling to help them come to terms with the trauma so many of them have experienced.

Asylum Matters

is a charity that works in partnership locally and nationally to improve the lives of refugees and people seeking asylum through social and political change. By mobilising and coordinating local, regional and national advocacy work, we aim to increase the impact of campaigns to secure improvements to asylum policy and practice.

They are based in the North West, West Midlands, Yorkshire and Humber, North East and Wales, as well as London, but work with partners across the whole of the UK.

The Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants

JCWI states they want to live in a country in which immigration law and policy are based on sound evidence, promote the rule of law and are underpinned by respect for human rights and human dignity.

The Migration Observatory

Based at the Centre on Migration, Policy and Society (COMPAS) at the University of Oxford, the Migration Observatory provides impartial, independent, authoritative, evidence-based analysis of data on migration and migrants in the UK, to inform media, public and policy debates, and to generate high quality research on international migration and public policy issues.
