We are always on the look out for more volunteers. We especially need people to help in our advice & advocacy team – as part of this team you will help our clients process their asylum claims and navigate the complexity of the UK system gaining access to essential services like healthcare and education.
Here are some of the other ways you could help us:
- befriending local asylum seekers and refugees
- conversational English classes
- collecting and sorting donated items (we have guidelines - see our Donate page)
- helping at drop-in sessions - this could be preparing refreshments or helping with the children's activities
- supporting our communications agenda and managing our social media accounts
- admin and secretarial support
