After a short break for Christmas, and a period of restricted services due to Covid, we are back up and running with a bang. On Tuesday 1 February we welcomed families and volunteers back to our weekly drop-in sessions – it felt good to be back together again, bigger and better than before.
Hello, hello: to our new families, new babies – especially our newest arrival Musa – and new volunteers, it was fantastic to see you all. With more and more people in need of our support, we have expanded our advice and advocacy team – thank you to Catherine Hogarth, Kristen Smith and Ruth Long who have recently joined us.
If you need help, or know someone who needs our help, get in touch on 07907 375284 to arrange an appointment.
Keeping safe: to make sure we can remain open, and protect everyone involved, we have implemented a new Covid policy. All clients and volunteers must show proof of their vaccination status before accessing our services or attending events. Anyone who is not up to date with their vaccinations will be asked to take an onsite lateral flow test before accessing services.
What’s on? We have lots more fun events in the pipeline with half term and Valentine’s Day around the corner, plus a new monthly women’s group launching on 17 February. Find out more.
Getting out and about: during the half term holiday we are inviting some of our asylum-seeking mums and children to the Pennine Lancashire Community Farm to enjoy their purpose-built outdoor space – look out for photos, we’re sure they’ll have fun.
