Our charity survives on donations and the support of our volunteers. That’s why today has been such a special day. We’re really feeling the love after a number of donations – that will help us to keep helping asylum seekers and refugees in Burnley.
So here’s everyone we’re grateful to today for their help, support and financial donations:
- Burnley Rotary Club raised £300 for us following a presentation at their recent dinner by our charity manager Ann Laemmer.
- St Stephen’s Church Mother’s Union raised £500 for us after our Chair of the Board Ruth Haygarth spoke at a recent meeting.
- A number of individual donors who have helped us with £175 and a new Lenovo tablet to support our services
- And finally, a big thank you to our team of volunteers who spent this morning preparing for the reopening of drop-in sessions at St John’s Church hall on 23 November.
