Drop in sessions now running again every Tuesday at St John's Church from 13:00 - 15:00, we look forward to welcoming you

Welcome back volunteers!

Volunteers at meeting

After over 18 months of not being able to meet up in person, our lovely team got together on 19 October for a volunteer meeting.

Hello! It was great to see lots of familiar faces back again, and there were some new ones too – welcome Helen, Niamh, Pam, Rachel and Roy to the volunteer team.

What was on the agenda? As well as a well-deserved catch up, we also went through the plans to reopen a number of the charity’s services.

  • We’re planning to restart drop-in sessions during November and will share the dates and times soon.
  • Look out for fun activities to help our new neighbours get to know each other and our local area better.

Getting together in person also meant we could provide training to our new ‘advice and advocacy team’ – through this we are building more skills and equipping more people to assist and support our new neighbours to access services.

Want to become part of our team? If you’re interested in volunteering for New Neighbours Together just send us an email or give us a call on 07907 375284 – we’d love to have you as part of our team.
